Bryn Ball transforms the world around her into art. From an early age she enjoyed creating art, using detailed sketches and illustrations to explore and explain nature. She grew up in Cumberland, where her artwork is found throughout town and neighbouring communities in the form of T-shirts, murals, and logos for various small businesses. Always fascinated with the human form, she has been influenced by the Art Nouveau movement (particularly the works of Alphonse Mucha) and the Pre-Raphaelites, often representing the female form through portrait and life studies. Ball attended NIC’s fine art program and continues to explore various mediums. Her favourite is pencil and pen drawing, but she also enjoys working with paint and digital art.
