Born and raised in Montreal, Bruce bounced to Edmonton then Toronto before landing in Vancouver where he explored the North Shore with his camera and North Shore rescue for many years. Based in Royston for the last several years, he has used connections in CV Nature and the CV Photographic Society to dive deeply into local nature opportunities. There is a clear emphasis on bird photography seeking out intimate moments that often elude the naked eye. Bruce has had articles in CV Nature’s newsletter and annually contributes photographs to the CV Conservation Partnership calendar, which supports local environmental, education, and conservation projects. Watch for Bruce flat out on his paddle board or a beach near you!
