L.J.P (aka Luke Paluch) is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter/musician known for creating heartfelt, all-original indie rock, pop, and psychedelic jam music. After 30 years of playing in successful bands in Ottawa and Dublin, he arrived in Comox on an extended road trip in 2017, and moved here in 2021. He has been the head chef at Gigi’s Oysters in Comox since its opening.
He writes, records, produces, mixes, and masters all his own tracks—a true one-man band. His music often features collabs with other artists and showcases a blend of live and studio recordings.
His solo live performances have been described as “live art installations.” He focuses on looping and layering on the spot while keeping each song’s original idea. These shows are heavy on improvisation, which means you’ll never really hear the same song the same way twice.
