Nature has always been a key part of Matt’s life. Growing up on Vancouver Island has given him countless mountains to climb and trails to follow. For him, photography has become a means of experiencing the great outdoors in a much more intimate way. Shooting everything from macro to the majestic Pacific Northwest landscape, he is always searching for those intimate scenes where light, moment, and composition all align to create something beautiful.
