Jo is a Comox-based artist with a passion for exploring colour, texture, and light. Using primarily acrylics, pastels, and gold leaf, she creates bold floral works and atmospheric land- and seascapes. Jo grew up in England and worked in the fashion industry before moving to Canada and putting aside art for many years. In 2017, a friend convinced her to join the CV Arts 30 Day Drawing Challenge. She hasn’t looked back since.
