Featured Photographer: Eiko Jones

With a big emphasis on water-based photography, Eiko Jones’s work includes images of mountains, lakes, rivers, and oceans, and the salmon, trout, and other life forms that inhabit the Strathcona Region. While all aspects of the natural world are of interest, underwater photography of Pacific salmon has become one of Eiko’s primary objectives. Living in Campbell River has its advantages, centred in prime salmon habitat with all five species of salmon making their way into the surrounding rivers each year.
