Margaret’s first love was likely her mother, but her second was undoubtedly words and stories. Throughout her life, a love of literacy encouraged explorations in poetry, theatre, creative and academic writing, blogging, and daily journaling. One of her greatest joys is to support and encourage others, which her Bachelor of Education allowed her to do as an Educator, both here in Canada and in the United Kingdom. Margaret has owned a small, community-focused business in the Oceanside area since 2014; she has also worked in the film industry, been a freelance writer, and is now a part-time bookseller. She believes the role of Editor is the perfect opportunity to not only play with words––celebrating the beautiful area she grew up in––but a chance to support others to tell stories and have their voices heard.
