Born and raised in Duncan, Josh went to school in Nanaimo in Fisheries and Aquaculture before joining the RCMP. He spent the majority of his time working in northern BC and currently works with the K9 Unit in Prince George. He raised his dog, Azar, while working in Nitinat where he began kiteboarding on his time off. Josh believes he is the first “Mountie” to ever enter the Windfest competition in Nitinat… in uniform! He spends his time off mountain biking, kiteboarding, and skiing.
