Alex Maertz is an illustrator based on the west coast. Born a stone’s throw from the woods, she instinctively draws on nature for inspiration. She loves to use simple shapes, patterns, and colours to create an organic feel that connects people with the great outdoors. When not at her computer, Alex can be found frolicking in the forest with her dog, Roo, or annoying strangers with her repertoire of “dad” jokes.
