National Indigenous Peoples Day is a day recognizing and celebrating the cultures and contributions of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Indigenous people in Canada and an expression of shared commitment to reconciliation.
This year’s celebrations take place at Robert Ostler Park on Sunday June 21st, 2026.
- 8 – 11 am – Father’s Day Breakfast at the Community Centre
- 10 – 11:30am – Opening Ceremonies and Cultural Performance at CR Big House
- 11:30 am – March to Robert Ostler Park
- 12 – 1:30 pm – Lunch
- 12 – 4:30 pm – Face painting, Bounce O Ramas, Kids Games, Craft Sales, Demos, Crafting, Live entertainment and much more
- 4:40 – 5pm – Closing ceremonies
