Born and raised in the lush “Happy Valley” area just outside of Cumberland, Shelley now resides with her husband, Adam, in Courtenay. She grew up making music and growing vegetables with her family (The Browns) and now passes on her music love with her home business as a violin teacher. Shelley strives to learn the green thumb ways of her parents, and nourish her children and family with home-grown food.
