Shane is a gardener, plant geek, and outdoor enthusiast. He spends a lot of time chasing and photographing wildflowers. A Vancouver Island resident since 1994, living on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen and Wsanec, Shane has been in love with the wild spaces of the Island since doing the West Coast Trail in 1996. He has killed a million Scotch broom plants and cares a great deal about conservation and restoration.
