Ron has been trained in the art and science of photography since he was a child. He practices photography as a sacred right of magic art, and shares that experience with others openly. With an image he can speak volumes into the hearts and minds of strangers he may never know perhaps beyond his own lifetime. The moments of life are as fleeting as the sun on the horizon. He seeks to capture the very essence of our common existence through the colour of the air and the favour of the light. He is always trying to see back to the source of things. His perception of our plane of existence is as a screen, making the light bearable by filtering it through smoke and lives and memory.
Ron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from the Emily Carr University and has worked as a freelance photographer for many years all the while seeking venues for my personal work.
