Lorenz is an adventure sport and lifestyle photographer based out of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC.
Originally from Ontario, Lorenz earned a Bachelor of Engineering Physics and Society from McMaster University in Hamilton; he is a refugee from Ottawa’s high-tech industry. Lorenz spent a year traveling through western Canada and the US, when, enthralled by the nature and landscape, he developed a passion for photography. In 2013 Lorenz moved to Courtenay, where he completed NIC’s Professional Photography Certificate Program. Lorenz still takes landscape and nature photographs, but the program introduced him to other genres of photography: architecture, product, fine art, portraiture. What he really enjoys, though, is taking pictures of awesome people doing awesome things in awesome places.
