Leah is a lover of the wild places. Born and raised on the west coast, she has dedicated her career to studying the wildlife and ecosystems of BC and improving environmental management. Leah first discovered the Comox Valley in 2006 during a temporary work position. She now lives in Cumberland and works for Ecofish Research, a leading environmental firm located in Courtenay. In her free time, she can be found embarking on wilderness adventures large or small and near or far, photographing weddings and nature, practicing yoga, brewing the ‘buch (kombucha) or cider, foraging, dancing, or giggling on her mountain bike in the “backyard.”
