Glynnis was raised on a hobby farm on Vancouver Island by parents who were “hippies” of the day.  Their sustainable lifestyle allowed her to spend a lot of time outdoors, so her love and appreciation for nature’s processes began to bud at a very young age.

After the very first digital cameras came out, she took a cheap Sony camera everywhere she went. Later, while teaching and travelling overseas and in Northern BC, she learned the basic art of photography and immediately fell in love with making photo art out of the extraordinary beauty found in all of nature’s cycles.

Glynnis lives in Cumberland, where she is raising her two children. She teaches middle-school media arts, along with her specialty of English literature. She very much loves the energy, the people, and the forests that surround her.
