Maggie Ziegler is a mixed media artist and graphic designer residing in the Comox Valley. She draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes and easy lifestyle of her Vancouver Island home. Her work is characterized by a blend of representational subjects and abstract backgrounds employed to create movement and balance in each composition.
Dedicated to exploring new techniques and the interplay between traditional and digital art, Ziegler aims to capture the essence of the natural world as she sees it—and to evoke in the viewer the emotions it stirs within her.
She approaches her art with curiosity and optimism, as a way to celebrate the beauty that surrounds us. She believes in the transformative power of creativity and its ability to connect us with one another and the world at large.
Ziegler is an Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her studio space is located at ARTWRX Studio Gallery in Courtenay.
