North Island Writers Conference

The organizers of the North Island Writers Conference are pleased to announce the 9th annual three-day event, from Friday, January 16th to Sunday, January 18th, at the Courtenay North Island College campus.

What to Expect

• Two three-hour fiction contests: one for youth (ages 15 to 24) and an open contest for everyone 25+.
• Both contests will run from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 17th in Tyee Hall at the North Island College Comox campus (2300 Ryan Rd).
• Prizes for the top three stories in each contest include gift certificates and cash, and the two winning stories will be published here on the Comox Valley Collective website (https://thecollectivemags.ca/).
