The Glacier Grannies invite you to an afternoon of music!
This is a free concert, but donations will be gratefully received for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, and enjoy music from Fourtune and the Watershed Band.
Fourtune consists of members Amanda Low (percussion), Jacquie DeLong (keyboards, guitar), Jane Dunnett (guitar, bass, mandolin), and Tracey Alvarez (uke).
Since its inception the group has applied its vocal skills to creating harmonies and accompanying them with a rootsy, contemporary vibe. It is ‘fourtunate’ these four musicians have an opportunity to share their music with you.
Watershed Band members are the very talented Jane Dunnett (guitar, bass, mandolin), John Brown (guitar, harmonica), and Keith Goddard (guitar, bass, lap steel). They have trained voices and embrace the opportunity to sing 3-part harmony in many of their songs, producing a folky vibe or a more edgy blues sound.
Enjoy the music!!!
