FULL MOON / SNOW MOON

This full moon is linked to the heavy snowfall in February in much of the Northern Hemisphere and also has a strong connection to animals. The Cree call this the Bald Eagle Moon or Eagle Moon, while the Ojibwe Bear Moon and Tlingit Black Bear Moon refer to the time when bear cubs are born.

The Full Snow Moon of February will be at its peak on Sunday, February 1 at 2:09 P.M. Go outside after sunset to witness the Full Moon in its full splendour.
