Sylvia and her husband and p-ART-ner in creative pursuits, Ron Hilliard, became Islanders in 2019 after trading their condo in Gastown for a home on Quadra Island. Having graduated from art school, Sylvia’s creativity turned to business pursuits in branding, marketing, and communications for high-growth, entrepreneurial enterprises in retail fashion, beverage alcohol, wine and real estate development. She serves on the 2024 Quadra Island Studio Tour committee and is pleased to help promote the incredible talents of Quadra’s diverse art community while engaging in painting and mixed media assemblage at their studio, less than five minutes from the Quathiaski Cove Ferry Terminal. Ron and Sylvia welcome visitors and collaborators to Kamaole II Studio year round.
