ḵ̓agwiki’lakw, Shadow Alfred is the new Media Coordinator at Nawalakw driven by an unwavering passion for visual storytelling, creative content development, and being apart of a collective vision to revitalize Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw language and culture. Shadow weaves meaningful contributions within Nawalakw, community involvement and through her love for soccer, all that reconnects her to her cultural heritage, emphasizing the importance of cultural identity, family ties and the power of healing through sports and being out on the land. She finds healing and fulfillment in her work and aims to help pave healthy futures for our ga̲nga̲nana̲m and generations to come!
