Ryan Miller is an award-winning, published, underwater and wildlife photographer from Oyster Bay. In 2005 Ryan graduated from the commercial diving program at North Island College. Since then he has logged over 8000 dives, working all over Canada doing construction, salvage, engineering inspections, and contaminated water diving. Ryan’s focus over the last eight years has been on ocean conservation, which has lead him to work with numerous biological consulting companies doing environmental surveys all over BC—from kelp, eel grass, abalone, herring spawn, urchin and geoduck surveys, to creating artificial reefs and restoration projects.
