Former journalist and book editor Neall Calvert has had poetry published online at the League of Canadian Poets’ Poetry Pause and at Dreamers Writing. In print, his poems have appeared in The Men’s Journal, Borrowed Solace, Yawp!, Sea & Cedar [Summer 2022] and the books Vistas of the West and Worth More Standing: Poets and Activists Pay Homage to Trees [Qualicum Beach: Caitlin, 2022]. An associate member of the League of Canadian Poets, Neall moved to Campbell River from Vancouver in 2012 to live near the quiet and wildness of northern Vancouver Island.
