Lorin is a counsellor and writer from Comox, published in The Puritan, Portal, subTerrain and Refugium: Poems for the Pacific (Caitlin Press, 2017). She won the 2014 Islands Short Fiction Contest, the 2015 Books Matter poetry prize, and was longlisted for the 2016 Prism International Poetry Contest.
