Jessica was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and she comes from a long lineage of earth keepers—people who have tended the land. In 2010, she officially moved to Vancouver Island where she now shares her life with her husband, two children, and their pup.
Jessica typically spends her days in her gardens, either prepping them for the upcoming season, creating and designing new spaces, or harvesting the flowers and veggies she grows with her family. It is a year-round labour of love, dedication, and planning with a lot of hope and faith thrown in. When she’s not in the gardens, or shuttling her children to their activities, you can find her and her pup in the forest, snuggled up with a cup of tea and a book (usually researching new gardening techniques or design ideas), at a beach, or foraging with her family and friends.
