Jan has been guiding, climbing and skiing internationally for more than thirty years, with a particular focus on the Himalayan region. He is the director of Island Alpine Guides as well as the manager of operations for Pantheon Helicopter Skiing and co-funder/president of the the Vancouver Island Avalanche Centre.
