Jan has been a big fan of the CV Collective magazine since its inception, or should that be “conception.” (Jan happens to be the mother of CVC Founder and Creative Director, Ian Adams.) Jan was thrilled when the CVC team chose the topic of pit orchestras for issue 22, and over the top when given the opportunity to write the article. Her previous writing experience includes annual Christmas letters, a Masters thesis, and a research paper in the Canadian Journal of Public Health about 20 years ago. There was also a published letter to the editor for Pacific Yachting about how her young boys loved to see “stars in the toilet” (bioluminescence in the saltwater head) aboard their small sailboat.
