James is a Courtenay resident, and an enthusiastic birder and bird photographer. He prefers to photograph the lesser-known and harder-to-find birds in the Comox Valley, but won’t turn down an eagle or owl in front of his lens. From warblers to woodpeckers, sandpipers to sparrows, James is a real bird-lover. If you see a strange man with a large camera on his chest wandering around the Airpark or Seal Bay, feel free to stop him and chat birds, photography, sushi, or anything else.
