Diane was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, in 1952 and (perhaps sadly) has been moving south ever since. She arrived in the Comox Valley in the fall of 2001. Diane retired in 2013 after almost 40 years of working in various roles in health care. In her final 10 years she had the opportunity to teach aspiring nurses in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at North Island College. Diane enjoys a variety of physical activities including skiing, running, cycling, walking, and fitness classes. She also likes to read and solve cryptic crossword puzzles. She has always enjoyed writing and was pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to the CV Collective.
