Dan was born and bred in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has lived in several cities across Canada and Europe. Along with co-owning the Lost Faucet Sauna House, he teaches Political Science at North Island College, and is the founder and director of Astrophobia Science Fiction and Horror Film Festival. He lives in Courtenay with his wife Lisa and dog Echo.
