In 2018, Damien decided to focus on solo adventures throughout remote territories of the Pacific Northwest to get a better understanding of the world surrounding him, travelling by canoe, bike, sea-kayak, foot, on a rusty fishing boat, or even on the back of a laundry delivery truck! Those self-propelled journeys took him from Vancouver Island to the Bering Sea, across the Yukon Territory, interior Alaska, British Columbia, and isolated islands of the Pacific Ocean. He documents those expeditions through a passion for analog photography and writing and shares it on his storytelling blog.
