Carrera is the founder of CT Initiatives, a consulting firm supporting the non-profit and public sectors in the areas of community relations, fund and business development, communications, event planning, and grant/proposal writing. She has extensive experience in the non-profit sector ranging from national and grassroots charities to public and private post-secondary institutions to health care. She believes that there is always something new to learn and room for growth. She holds a Bachelor of Management and a Diploma in Public Relations. Beyond work, she loves spending time outdoors exploring with her husband and pups. Whether it be riding bikes on the road or in the mountains, swimming in open water, or walking on the beach or in the forest.
