Amber lives by the motto “no mountain is too high to climb” and loves to share her passion for adventure through writing, motivational speaking, and mentoring youth. You’ll most often find Amber on her bike, sailing, or in the mountains ski touring or hiking with her husband Cris and dog Maleka. When she’s not adventuring, Amber is a registered community planner who works on sustainability issues, urban planning, and downtown revitalization efforts (currently as the Manager of Community Planning & Development Services for the City of Campbell River).
