Alice grew up on Vancouver Island and loves being surrounded by nature and endless opportunities for adventure. She is a Registered Nurse and (whenever she is not working) can be found outside with friends or exploring the hidden gems of the Island with her family. She credits her husband Jeremy (owner of the Riding Fool Hostel) for cultivating her love for backcountry adventures and planning many family adventures since their two daughters were very young. Most summer days are spent mountain biking, hiking, at the lake or “somewhere on a beach in the middle of nowhere.” Winter days are often spent on the ski hill. They have a huge appreciation for where they live and the access to recreation right out the back door.
