CEYLON CUISINE & SPICES

From the coasts of the Indian Ocean to our north Pacific paradise, Ceylon Cuisine brings the warmth of their dynamic flavour blends, delicious curries and a culturally rich culinary experience.

Manoja and Sudeera Gangodage launched Ceylon in 2013 through the Comox Valley Farmers’ Market. They’ve grown steadily and quickly establishing a local storefront at 510 Duncan Avenue in Courtenay. Community collaboration including direct connection with farmers has been a benefit to the business, helping them grow and improve, establishing Ceylon as a celebrated addition to our local food culture.

“We have huge customer demand outside of Comox Valley and they keep asking where they can buy our products.” Manoja explains. They are hiring new staff and starting to wholesale their products beginning with their True Ceylon Cinnamon & Two Curry Blends, distributing from Campbell River to Victoria.

With a variety of upcoming events including the Filberg Festival, Atmosphere Gathering, Canada Day, Market Day and of course the Farmers’ Market, Canada’s first Sri Lankan food truck is looking forward to a very busy spring and summer.
