Highway 19 Concerts is proud to present a special solo hometown concert by singer-songwriter and guitar ace Jeff Plankenhorn. “Plank” is a world-class songwriter and had been an accompanist to the stars and first-call session musician in Austin, Texas, for 16 years when he decided to go solo with his critically acclaimed album SoulSlide in 2016. In 2019 he and his wife decided to make her hometown of Campbell River their homebase between frequent tours around the US, Europe, and Canada.

His brand new album Alone At Sea reflects Plankenhorn’s newfound affinity for his Vancouver Island home while continuing his signature blues-folk-rock sound that was developed over 20 years of playing with some of the best songwriters in the world in one of the America’s musical capitals.
